WHAT IS GRIEF?
Grief and loss come in many shapes and forms. It has been said that there are no rules to grief and there is no right way one must grieve. However, we sometimes find ourselves deeply suffering in our grief and we have feelings we don’t know how to deal with or we don’t understand are normal.
Many people face complicated feelings of grief depending on the kinds of losses suffered. In hospice, death, dying, grief and loss is expected, but not always accepted. We all cope and heal differently, but in the process, we all have various feelings: sadness, helplessness, longing, loneliness, and maybe even anger or guilt.
