Volunteer Partnership Event

On August 11, our organization, Hospice of the West partnered with Dream Catchers, Boulder Creek High School, Lifestream Senior Living and Maggie’s Dance Studio to fulfill the dream of our charming and talented 93-year old patient, Dolph. One of Dolph’s end-of-life wishes was to dance again. Dolph once owned and operated Continental Ballroom here in Arizona for 20-years. He was also a farm worker in Arkansas and a railroad worker for 43 years.

Our certified Hospice volunteer Dolly was his beautiful dancing partner for this special “Dancing for the Stars” dream event. Deepest gratitude to our community partners for making Dolph’s dream come true.
